A Journey On The Parsuram Express

People from Tamil Nadu who like to visit the Mangalore beaches should take the Parsuram Express that runs from Nagercoil to Mangalore. The train starts at 4:20 AM and reaches Mangalore at 8:40 PM in the night on the same day. Initially, this train was run between Kochi and Shoranur, which was extended in the future to Mangalore Central and Trivandarum. After that, the train was stretched till Nagercoil. The unique thing about this train is its name. It was derived from the legendary name of Parasurama, who is believed to be the creator of Kerala and Mangalore.
