Visiting Dubai? Oh, planning to click pics of you touching the Burj Khalifa? Waiting for the shopping festival? Going on desert safaris on camels? Enjoying some fine Arabian food for dinner? How mainstream! Many forget Dubai is not just an expensive and posh place to visit; it is also the land for super wild adventure and thrills too! Few most famous thrill sports are listed here! Enjoy the regales flying experience in “Sex and The City 2” Style with Fly Emirates!

1. Skydiving:
This is probably the most widely known adventure sport famous in Dubai. But many miss the key of this adventure! LOOK DOWN! It’s not just an adrenaline rush that thrills the day lights out of you but the very view of Dubai from a sky drop is mesmerizing! You get to see the many manmade wonders that Dubai is made of! The sand islands shaped like the world map, the Burj Khalifa, luxurious buildings and what not! In the 21st CE, this is the most fun and innovative way to experience the mind-blowing aerial view of Dubai.
Tumbling out of the plane above the Palm Jumeirah is the most beautiful thing that one has ever seen!

2. Reef and Wreck Diving:
Colour changing cuttlefish and simple hair raising ship wrecks have outlined the sea of Dubai which draws millions of divers every year. Diving has become an adventure sport quite recently. The reefs lined alongside the sands of the beaches are a marvel to be witnessed. Not just gazing at the exceptional marine wildlife but also finding the sea wreckage is a part of this marine experience. Anchor Barge that sunk in the Gulf Sea in 1998 has turned into an artificial coral reef and has become the home of the cuttlefish that change colours. Very close to it is the Miriam express, a cargo ship that was devoured by the sea in 2006.

3. Hiking:
As new routes are being discovered by a small group of dedicated climbers, hiking is slowly turning into a major thrill sport in the UAE. Dubai’s northern neighbour Ras Al Khaimah is the house to the most climber-friendly mountains the Hajar mountains. They rise to 3050 meters offer great hiking experience. These limestone crags offer new levels of thrill in each height with towering peaks like Jebel Misht and other mountains.
Remember that these tracks are barely decipherable to armature hikers, do hire a guide. Above the deserts are these highland tracks with a spectacular view of the landscape.

4. Sea Kayaking:

The Arabian Peninsula is known for its long stretches of beach and yes, kayaking is not to be missed here! Kayakers can go about exploring the thick mangroves in the emirates of Um al Quwain and Abu Dhabi. They might even witness some sea turtles and flamingos on their way! While this is on the west coast, on the east coast one can enjoy the 1,500-hectare area of mangrove forests in Khor Kalba. It attracts a lot of important local wildlife. Endangered species like the White-Collared Kingfishers and the Socotra cormorants make their house here. Check out several isolated beaches on the east coast for a day or two and camp on one of these isolated coves.
