Goa is one of the best tourist destinations in the country. I always had this desire to visit the region of Goa for holidays. I got this golden opportunity to visit the place for enjoying a vacation with my family recently. I planned the whole journey myself for the trip. There are many ways to reach Goa from Pune. Travel by flight is one of the fastest and luxurious ways to travel.

Air Travel in Air India from Pune

I searched for the best flights that are available from Pune for the travel. The flights that are available in this sector are mostly connecting via Mumbai. Some of the airlines have however also started direct flights for the passengers. I luckily got the cheap flight tickets with the Air India airlines. Air India being the national carrier of the country has good reputation and services for the passengers.

The flight departs from the Pune International Airport at 8.30 am. The Air India is one such airline in the sector that has low fares and also good services and facilities for the passengers. I had booked the tickets in advance for the journey and good deals and offers on the fares. The flight also provided us the Economy Class free meals and drinks.

The flight landed at the Goa International Airport and I headed for the arrivals exit. There was a cab waiting for me sent by the hotel. I had already booked a hotel for our stay in the region. The hotel that I booked was the Pride Village Sun Resort and Spa in Goa. It is one of the best 4-star hotels of the city known for its world-class services and facilities.
 
The hotel is wonderfully situated near the Baga Beach in Goa. Some of the services and facilities of the hotel that I liked were:

Shopping arcade for the guests

Luxurious Services at Hotel

The hotel has good in-house restaurants specialised in various cuisines from all parts of the country. It also has a lounge and bar for those who like to enjoy drinks and other wines. The swimming pool of the hotel is quite big and also has a good poolside bar for the guests to enjoy the sunshine. I also like the cafe of the hotel that serves light beverages and snacks. It is an ideal place to hang out in the evening with friends and family.

The hotel also has some of the best conference halls and meeting rooms where all kinds of discussions, seminars and other talks can be held. The banquet hall of the resort is big enough to host up to 300 to 500 people at one time. Some of the other facilities and services of the hotel that I liked were money-changing facility for the tourists, baby-sitters, laundry services, and a good parking space.

There are about 136 rooms available at the hotel for the tourists and they are classified as the Superior Room, Standard Double Room, Smart Single Room, Elite Room, and Studio Rooms.
